These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Redekontur mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The App

Redekontur helps advanced German learners (C1/C2) study verified public-domain literary excerpts with original grammar notes, study prompts, and rubric-based writing exercises. Content is for personal, non-commercial learning unless we agree otherwise in writing.

2. Educational content

Grammar highlights, study exercises, rubrics, summaries, and UI copy in Redekontur are original to the App (© Redekontur). Literary excerpts are public domain; each work cites author death year, first publication, and a link to Projekt Gutenberg. We do not bundle complete novels — only longer study excerpts. Full works are read via linked Gutenberg pages.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, or redistribute the App's original study content for commercial use
• Reverse engineer the App except where permitted by law
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable law

4. No warranty

The App and all content are provided "as is" for educational purposes. We do not guarantee exam results, certification outcomes, or error-free content. Self-check rubrics do not constitute automatic grading or official assessment.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Redekontur and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

6. Third-party components

The App includes open-source software and fonts under their respective licenses. See About → Open-source licenses in the App.

7. Changes

We may update the App or these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
