Redekontur ("we", "our", or "the app") is a German language learning app for advanced learners (C1/C2). This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Summary

Redekontur works without an account. Your study progress and exercise notes are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a backend that collects your personal data, and we do not sell your information.

Information stored on your device

The app may store the following on your device only:

• Reading position and completed study sections
• Self-check rubric selections and written exercise drafts
• App settings and preferences

This data is saved using your device's local storage. It is not transmitted to our servers.

External links

The app links to Projekt Gutenberg and other public-domain sources for full texts. When you open those links, you leave the app and the third-party site's privacy policy applies.

What we do not collect

• No account registration or email required to use the app
• No advertising identifiers or third-party analytics in the app
• No sale of personal data

App Store purchases

If you make in-app purchases in the future, payment is handled by Apple. We receive only the information Apple provides to developers (such as purchase status), not your full payment details.

Children

Redekontur is intended for advanced learners and general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own services.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
